Warm White vs. Cool White

Deck Lighting 101: Warm White vs Cool White

Beyond style and fixture design, knowing the light temperature that's perfect for your space will help the planning process be so much smoother. Here's a quick guide on determining whether you're shopping for a Warm White or a Cool White lighting style to highlight your deck.

Warm white and cool white refer to the temperature of the light emitted from the bulb. It is typically measured on the Kelvin scale which is a unit of measurement used to describe the hue of a specific light source.
