The square edging on the Tucson Inset Demi-Top Post cap sets off the thin inset just along its base.
As with all Acorn post caps, the Tucson is made from a single piece of cedar, Ipe, or pressure-treated pine. This eliminates any joints or glued pieces that can come apart. Additionally, the 3/8 inch inset base protects the post end grain for greater longevity. Choose from post cap sizes 3-5/8 inch or 5-5/8 inch. Acorn Wood Post Caps are ready to be treated with your choice of wood oil.
Note: Post caps must be treated, or cracking/splitting/warping can occur. Wood oil should be used on all surfaces of the cap.
