Protect and secure your Skyline™ Cable Railing by applying a small amount of Brush-On Electrical Tape to the threads of your base plate screws before using them to attach base plates to your surface mount posts. We recommend installing all your base plate screws this way so your railing can reach its maximum possible lifespan.

Brush-On Electrical Tape is a useful barrier any time two different metals will be in direct contact - like the stainless steel base plate screws and the aluminum post. Use Brush-On Electrical Tape to prevent corrosion and extend the lifespan of your metal parts!

Everything You Need For A Complete Skyline Cable Railing

Step 1: Posts - Two options:

For Surface Mounted Posts: Surface Mount Posts, post mounting screws, and either Post Skirts or Decorative Screw Covers (these screw covers are included with Surface Mounted Posts).
For Fascia Mounted Posts: Fascia Mount Posts,Fascia Mount Brackets, and Decorative Screw Covers
Maximum spacing between posts: 5 feet in true dimensions from the edge of one post to the edge of the next.
