If you don't have existing wood posts, use Trex Structural Posts inside your post sleeves.
How To Choose Your Size
Both post sleeves only fit over nominal 4x4 wood posts or structural posts.
Choose the 4-1/2-inch sleeves for less visual obstruction. Choose the 5-1/2-inch posts for a more traditional, substantial look, or to more easily connect rails at unorthodox angles.
How To Choose Your Height
For 36-inch tall railing:- Choose 39-inch post sleeves for the surface of your deck
- Choose 54-inch post sleeves for the middle and bottom of your stairs
For 42-inch tall railing:
- Choose 54-inch post sleeves for all posts
